About us
Established in 1975, the founder, Mohammad Ibrahim Haji, MIH building materials launched its first venture in Al Ain as a small fabricator. The company has emerged into a premier supplier offering building materials fulfilling the growing demand of the construction industry. It is based on showrooms and trading outlets across the U.A.E & Qatar led by Mohammad Umar Ibrahim, a tireless leader with decades of experience. The group’s activities range from supplying Architectural Aluminum, Steel, Glass, Timber, Plywood, and all types of Accessories.
MIH group is consistently excelling in its reputation of providing the right product to meet any requirement. Moreover, our customers trust and value our industrial experience to provide the right solutions for all sub-contractors. Although there is a need to add new products and service lines, we stand proud of our achievements in the last four decades.
As one of the largest suppliers in GCC, the Group has branches across the U.A.E, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar with each director handling various regions:
Mr. Umar manages Dubai & Northern Emirates as well as Qatar.
Mr. Riaz is responsible for the Sultanate of Oman.
Mr. Iqbal is managing operations in Abu Dhabi Ajman and Um Al Quwain.
Mr. Munir is handling eastern regions of Abu Dhabi as well as KSA.

Core Strengths
MIH Group has vast supplies of material readily available in large volume by investing heavily in logistics & infrastructure. Moreover, the inventories and accounting systems are fully computerized using ERP software in order to manage huge volumes of stock. This is complemented with a range of heavy vehicles, making all imports & exports accessible in efficiently. Our extensive inventories and centrally located warehouses provide our branches the ability to supply our products at ease.

Let me welcome you to the MIH group or Haji Ibrahim as it’s known. We are fully geared to meet the demands of the construction industry. It has been over 40 years when my brothers and myself joined our workshop in Al Ain. Since then, that small endeavor has transformed us into one of the biggest names in the trading of building materials. We have successfully established our foundations in the markets, where we operate and are committed to serving customers and contractors. My tireless efforts had contributed to groups’ successful implementation of the ERP system to manage all IT related activities. This was a major pioneering step during its time as firms were still dependent on more manual infrastructure.
Our group enjoys a high credit rating in the global business community and, thus financially a strong company. We are proud of our achievements, I am confident that our group will see even greater growth and scale even greater heights.
Since the nation’s inception in 1971, we have embarked on a remarkable journey towards progress. I feel fortunate and honored to experience the finest years of the U.A.E. Even at this time, I have learned “A Nation cannot stop its development”.
